For the players who have never played at Lignano this is one of the fundamental rules that makes the game quick, fun and spectacular for the audience. This is a big difference from "traditional" rugby:

rules n.8: "When the player carrying the ball is caught by the opponent, he must release the ball within 2 seconds from the halt by passing it over or leaving it to anybody's disposal"

During the 2008 edition of the tournament the match with the higher number of tries was Slovenia Turtles vs. Cheeky Strikers. The total number of tries was 18, one try every 33,3 seconds, For the whole tournament:
